A Europe ready for the digital age is one of the European Commission's key priorities for the coming period. In this challenging time of the COVID -19 virus, we are more doomed than ever to communicate via digital channels, and this priority imposes itself as a key direction in which we must act. Communication through digital channels has become an indispensable part of the everyday life of every person, local community enterprise and any other organization. Successful communication, a clear and timely message can be crucial for continued cooperation or expression of trust or the general release of news to the public. The situation where we are limited by public gatherings, direct physical contact, naturally imposes digital channels as the main tool for addressing the public, communicating important issues and generally placing emphasis on things we want to communicate or promote.

In cooperation with CTA Communications, leading marketing experts from the Republic of Croatia, EDIC Karlovac organized a workshop which will enable local and regional self-government units (JLRS) and public bodies (JPT) from Karlovac County to learn how to best use digital communication channels. and reach the target group. The workshop was held via the Zoom platform on April 21, 2021 from 1pm to 2.30pm.

At the workshop, participants were introduced to all digital channels from the web to social networks.
